Individual Membership
You become an owner of the credit union with your membership. Because of the cooperative effort of all members, your credit union offers several advantages over other costly financial institutions. Your membership is effective as long as you maintain a $25.00 minimum Share Account balance. Even if you change employers, you will still be eligible for membership. A Share Account, representing shares of ownership, is your primary credit union savings account and is opened with your membership.
Family Membership
Membership is open to immediate family members of eligible members. Immediate family is defined as any relative by blood or marriage or legal adoption or legal guardianship.
**IMPORTANT INFORMATION: PROCEDURES FOR OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT**
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.
As a member of the credit union, your savings are federally insured to at least $250,000.00 and backed by the full faith and credit of the United States Government through the National Credit Union Administration, a U.S. Government Agency.
